Special examination provisions features are allocated on a student by student basis:
- Extra working time.
- Pause button for rest breaks, feeding breaks, diabetic provisions or toilet breaks.
- Large text and images.
- Different colour text and images.
Adobe Flash 9 is required to use these tests. For all users who have Flash 7 or later, the updated version should automatically install. If you have trouble doing the automatic install, you may download Flash manually from Adobe.
Screen Reader Version
For blind users, we also offer a screen reader version of our OnScreen assessment platform. This is essentially a accessible html frontend designed specifically for screen reader software such as JAWS. The screen reader version was originally developed the NSW Board of Studies in collaboration with Vision Australia and The Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children.
The application has been used by blind students in New South Wales, and been comprehensively tested by Vision Australia.
